In a nutshell? I am the class clown that grew up. I am not easily embarrassed. I am a hopeless romantic. Myers-Briggs says I'm an ENFP, for whatever that's worth. A friend of mine says my aura is purple. I ramble when I tell stories. I'll talk to you about anything. I trust my gut, then go find the facts. My professional self is frequently at battle with my class clown. If I could spend every waking moment in the sun, outside, I would. I am a sailor, and race as often as I can, they are some of my favorite memories. I've had my heart broken, and I have broken hearts. I think that much is required before a person can look at love honestly. I like hiking. I can tell when children are lying. I'm kinda dorky, but my friends don't seem to mind/notice. I laugh at anything, but I know genuinely funny people when I see them. I struggle with seasonal depression. My brain is a jukebox that is always playing a song, right now it's playing "Shelter from the Storm" by Dylan. I strive to be understood. I am looking for purpose. I haven't found either. I've been told by so many people that I'm hard to read, but I don't see it. I'm a cancer survivor. I will embarrass myself at the slightest provocation just to get a laugh. Rather than Birthday/Christmas gifts, I would love to get tickets to something or a group trip from people --no gift wrap required. I have lived in 4 states, can you name them? From moving so often, I learned that my home will never be just my house, but who I fill it with. Sometimes talking about yourself can feel pretentious.
